Hello beauties, my name is Rachel, I am a freelance makeup artist based in Melbourne working primarily from my home studio but do have mobile services for those who request it. 

Let me tell you a little about myself. I am an aspiring makeup artist who loves seeing her client's faces after creating the look they entrusted me with. I became a makeup artist in 2020 after having enough of the corporate world and deciding to follow my dream of owning my own business. 

 

My journey as a makeup artist started at Elite Hair and Makeup where I learned the tricks of the trade. During my time at Elite, I was allowed to do work experience on photoshoots and runway shows.

 

My makeup technique involves creating a flawless and fresh feel to all skin types by using an airbrush. The reason I prefer to work with an airbrush is that it gives you the impression that you are not even wearing any makeup yet it gives you that flawless effect on the face (no matter the skin type). In saying this I like to cater to all my client's needs. I listen to what they wish and will work with my client to create a beautiful end result. However, because I respect my client I will always be honest with them. I will suggest an alternative idea that still incorporates parts of what they want in their looks which might work better with their (the client's) specific features.
